Job summary

Warren Global Logistics is seeking an experienced Truck Driver for a full-time role on the Gold Coast. You will operate our 2024 Mitsubishi Fuso Canter, perform daily freight collections and deliveries, and ensure orders are loaded, tracked and delivered on schedule.

The ideal candidate holds an LR (MR preferred) and forklift licence, with proven experience driving commercial trucks and navigating Brisbane/Gold Coast roads. Excellent time management and a safety-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Current LR licence (minimum) – MR preferred.
• Current forklift licence.

Responsibilities

• Daily freight collections and deliveries between Gold Coast and Brisbane area.

• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and keep truck clean.

Job Description – Truck Driver – seeking Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to carry out daily freight lodgements and collections from Brisbane and deliveries throughout the Gold Coast.

The successful applicant will operate our 2024 Mitsubishi Fuso Canter – 8 Pallet Curtainside Truck with Tail Lift, transporting a variety of general freight, including air and sea cargo.

The role is full time, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm.

Duties involve:

• Daily freight collections and deliveries between the Gold Coast, Brisbane Airport, Port of Brisbane and surrounding areas

• Loading, unloading and safely securing freight

• Operating a tail lift and forklift when required

• Ensuring freight is handled with care and delivered on time

• Liaising with our operations team regarding daily collections and deliveries

• Using CartonCloud to manage delivery information, update job statuses and record proof of delivery

• Communicating professionally with clients, warehouses and freight terminals

• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records

• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and ensuring the truck is kept clean and well maintained

• Following all relevant road safety and transport regulations

Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must possess:

• Current LR truck licence (minimum) – MR licence preferred

• Current forklift licence

• Previous experience driving commercial trucks

• Good knowledge of Brisbane and Gold Coast roads

• Experience with general freight collections and deliveries

• Confidence using a smartphone or tablet for electronic delivery records and job updates

• Good time management and organisational skills

• A positive and proactive "can-do" attitude

• Ability to work independently and problem solve when required

• Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards customers

• A strong focus on safety and attention to detail

• A reliable, punctual and hardworking approach to your work

Previous experience with CartonCloud, airfreight, airport cargo terminals and the Port of Brisbane would be highly regarded, but not necessary.

Job Benefits

• $75,000 per annum + Superannuation
