Job summary

Brisk Transport is looking for reliable MR and HR drivers to join our growing Brisbane removals team, with flexible work arrangements, short and long-term contracts available, and rates of up to $50 per hour.

Whether you're looking for a long-term opportunity, something to fit around other commitments, work between jobs or simply some extra income over the busy Christmas period, we have opportunities to suit you.

You choose the days and hours you're available, and we'll work with you to find the right arrangement.

Previous removalist experience isn't essential. If you have a manual MR or above licence, solid driving experience, a good work ethic and are comfortable with hands-on work, we'd love to hear from you!

About the role

As a Removalist Driver, you'll be responsible for safely operating our removal trucks and working alongside your crew to deliver a professional moving experience for our customers.

This is an active, hands-on role that combines driving with furniture removals, teamwork and customer service. No two days are exactly the same!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving MR or HR manual removal trucks

• Loading, securing, transporting and unloading furniture and household or commercial goods

• Assisting with furniture removals and manual handling

• Working efficiently and safely with your crew

• Taking care of customers' furniture and belongings

• Providing friendly, professional customer service

• Completing vehicle and safety checks

• Maintaining a clean and safe vehicle

What we're looking for

We're looking for reliable people who take pride in their work and are happy to roll up their sleeves.

You'll ideally have:

• A current MR or HR manual licence

• Confidence operating larger vehicles

• A reliable, safety-conscious approach to work

• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

• Good communication and customer service skills

• The physical capability to lift, carry and move furniture

• Valid Australian work rights, including eligible work visas

Previous removalist experience is an advantage, but not essential for the right candidate.

Experience in delivery driving, furniture delivery, transport, logistics or other hands-on roles is also valuable. If you're a capable driver with the right attitude and are keen to learn the removals side of the job, we encourage you to apply. Training may be available for suitable applicants.
