Job summary

On Line Recruitment is seeking an MR Truck Driver to support our client's civil works team in the Illawarra. The role combines truck driving with general labouring, so you’ll need to be comfortable getting out of the cab and working alongside the crew.

Responsibilities include operating MR vehicles, performing labouring duties, and conducting routine checks while following safety procedures on site with direction from the Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current MR licence or higher.
• Must hold a White Card (General Construction Induction).
• Willingness and physical capacity for hands-on labouring duties.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Our client delivers local infrastructure projects, including kerb and gutter, footpaths, asphalt, stormwater drainage and road maintenance. This role combines truck driving with general labouring, so you'll need to be comfortable getting out of the cab and working alongside the crew.

Your duties will include:

Safely operating MR vehicles to support civil works.

Undertaking general labouring and assisting with manual handling.

Completing routine vehicle and equipment checks.

Cleaning and carrying out basic maintenance of vehicles, tools and plant.

Following site safety procedures and directions from your Team Leader.

What you'll need:

A current MR driver's licence or above

A White Card - General Construction Induction

A willingness and physical capacity to undertake hands‑on labouring duties.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work.

Civil construction or labouring experience would be an advantage.
