Job summary

Randstad is seeking an MR Truck Driver for a local delivery role in Canberra (Hume, ACT). This ongoing contract offers Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with home every afternoon.

You will operate MR vehicles on designated routes, collect and transport materials, and maintain run sheets while adhering to safety protocols. Local work with no interstate driving, strong earning potential at $36.50 per hour, and a path to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian MR licence with clean driving history.
• Experience in local multi-drop transport preferred.
• Must be able to pass Drug & Alcohol test.

The Role Join a high-energy team based at our Hume facility and play a vital role for working for a highly reputed organisation. We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused MR Truck Driver to handle local deliveries and transport routes.

If you enjoy the stability of a local routine, driving modern fleet vehicles, and being home every afternoon, this is the role for you. Your Day-to-Day Route Operations: Safely operating Medium Rigid (MR) vehicles across designated commercial or residential routes.

Collection & Transport: Efficiently collecting, transporting, and tipping industrial materials at authorized transfer locations. Safety First: Keeping accurate run sheets, and strictly adhering to on-site environmental and safety protocols.

What You Need

• Licence: A valid, unrestricted Australian Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence with a clean commercial driving history.


• Experience: Previous experience in local multi-drop transport is highly regarded, but drivers with strong heavy-vehicle handling are encouraged to apply.


• Clearance: Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
