Job summary

Stratco is seeking a dedicated Full-time Delivery Driver in Port Macquarie with a Medium Rigid (MR) license and driving experience. You will plan loads, secure them for delivery, and place goods onsite, while maintaining logs and vehicle readiness.

You will liaise with Despatch and customers on delivery issues, keep the truck in top condition, and collaborate across teams. A forklift license and crane experience are desirable; safety comes first.

Qualifications

• Essential – Medium Rigid License (MR) and driving experience.
• Desirable - Forklift license.
• Desirable – Experience operating a truck mounted crane.
• Willingness to work metro and country runs.
• Strength and fitness for frequent movement and lifting.
• Effective problem solver to meet customer needs.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Enjoys autonomous work with energy and pace.

Responsibilities

• Review vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery truck.
• Secure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when required.
• Deliver to customers and place onsite as required.
• Maintain vehicle and driver log.
• Liaise with Despatch team and customers on delivery issues and delays.
• Keep a clean truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to date.
• Collaborate with team members and other business areas as required.
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and a safe working environment.
