Job summary

Atom Resources is seeking a Moxy Operator for a major civil project in Newcastle, NSW. You will operate dump trucks from 9 to 45 tonnes on a busy site, loading, transporting and tipping spoil while keeping to site safety procedures.

This ongoing role offers weekly pay, travel and meal allowances, and potential progression to full-time. Experience with civil construction and a current dump truck ticket (VOC) are essential, along with a reliable, safety‑conscious work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience operating dump trucks in a civil environment.
• Civil construction experience is highly regarded.
• Current Dump Truck ticket and VOC.
• Physically fit and able to perform labouring duties.
• Strong safety focus around heavy plant.
• Reliable and hardworking; willing to work with the wider crew.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks 9–45 tonne on a busy civil site.
• Load, transport and tip spoil and materials.
• Carry out daily pre-start checks and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with general civil labouring duties when required.
• Support the wider site crew with site cleanup, materials and groundworks.
• Work around excavators, loaders and other heavy machinery.

• $22 travel allowance and $20 meal allowance per day

Duties

• Operating dump trucks 9 tonne - 45 tonne across a busy civil construction site
• Loading, transporting and tipping spoil and materials
• Carrying out daily pre-start checks and following site safety procedures
• Assisting with general civil labouring duties when required.
• Helping the wider site crew with site clean-up, materials and ground works
• Working around excavators, loaders and other heavy machinery

Skills & experience

• Previous experience operating dump trucks in a civil environment
• Civil constructionexperience highly regarded
• Current Dump Truck ticket and VOC
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out labouring duties
• Strong safety focus and awareness around heavy plant
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to get involved with the wider crew
