Job summary

Honeycombes PowerSports in North Queensland is seeking an experienced Service Technician to service and repair motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other small engines. You will work on leading brands and join a dynamic team.

You will complete maintenance, diagnostics, and test rides, with ongoing manufacturer training and opportunities to gain further qualifications. Competitive remuneration and a stable career are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a trade-qualified Motorcycle or Small Motors Mechanic.
• Ability to service and repair motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides and small engines including power equipment.
• Proficient in diagnostics, disassembly and inspection of engine components.
• Accurate documentation and timecard entries; adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair new and used motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides and other small engines including power equipment and mowers.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and tests; adjust mechanical parts for optimum performance.
• Undertake diagnostics, dismantle engine assemblies, transmissions and steering components as required.
• Complete documentation including timecards and safety checks.
• Conduct test riding of motorcycles to verify repairs and performance.
