Job summary

St Brendan’s College, Yeppoon, is seeking reliable cleaning staff to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. The role covers general cleaning duties across classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas within a leading Catholic secondary school.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 2.06pm (38 hours per week). Training is provided, and we offer a supportive environment and competitive hourly rate in a beautiful Capricorn Coast setting.

Qualifications

• General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, classrooms, offices and communal spaces.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Training provided if experience is limited.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, classrooms, offices and communal spaces.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and appropriately.
• Maintain and care for cleaning equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
