Job summary

Nurse Next Door Canberra is seeking dedicated Home Care Support Workers with availability to fill visits anywhere between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM on weekdays. Join a team that values making lives better and happier ageing, delivering compassionate in-home care to clients who are ageing or living with a disability.

Work is flexible and locally focused in Canberra, with autonomy to manage your day while receiving strong team support from a Nurse Led Management Team and our 24/7 Care Services Centre.

Qualifications

• Relevant Australian qualifications (Cert III or IV) in Aged Care, Community, Individual Support, or Disability, or extensive industry experience.
• Current Australian drivers licence and a reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Screener Clearance and completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module.

Responsibilities

• Provide genuine, compassionate and personalised in-home care
• Assist with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
• Deliver care in according to personalised plans developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety and equipment guidelines
