Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Landscape Gardening Assistant in Queensland. Earn $35.11 per hour plus super and a daily travel allowance, with immediate start and typical weekly earnings around $1,400+. Casual, ongoing assignments with opportunities to secure permanent roles on-site.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading
• Site clean-ups and final cleans
• General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up

• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Hard hat
• Safety glasses
• Work gloves
• High-visibility clothing
