Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is recruiting General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants for ongoing assignments across builders, landscapers, and industrial sites in Queensland. Immediate start with consistent weekly pay and potential for permanent roles on site.

Earn $35.11 per hour, plus 11.5% superannuation and a $22 daily travel allowance, with weekly pay every Thursday and genuine pathways into permanent employment. Must have 12 months' experience and a Construction White Card.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card holder.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable, punctual and with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work across multiple site tasks.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Wheelbarrowing materials on site.
• Digging and trenching as required.
• Lifting and carrying materials throughout shifts.
• Assisting qualified tradespeople on various tasks.
• General labouring duties as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card

• Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Safety glasses
• High-visibility clothing
