Job summary

Nepean Hospital in New South Wales is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Allied Health Assistant to join the Mobile Rehabilitation Team. The role supports Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy interventions, delivered under supervision, with shifts on Mondays and Tuesdays for 6 hours each.

The successful candidate will hold a Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent, demonstrate patient handling skills, and work well in a multidisciplinary team while maintaining NBMLHD policies

Qualifications

• Demonstrated patient manual handling skills and knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to undertake tasks independently when delegated with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities as scheduled
• Demonstrated computer literacy
• Current NSW Driver's licence and willingness to travel for work
