Job summary

Healthcarelink Support is seeking a Podiatrist to join a multidiscliplinary team delivering podiatry services in the community and aged care facilities. The role includes mobile assessments, diabetic foot screening, gait analysis, and home visits where appropriate.

The position offers full-time or part-time hours, with an up-to-$110k yearly salary plus super, depending on experience, located on the Central Coast NSW. Applicants must hold Podiatry qualification and AHPRA registration.

  About the role:

  Our client is looking for Podiatrists to join their multidisiplinary team to provide services in the community and aged care facility. Assist with pain management, improve and reduce deformities, help with rehabilitation, provide footwear advice for sport and everyday wear, and work with you to prevent the occurrence of some foot conditions.

  As a mobile Podiatrist providing support and assessment through diabetic foot screening and footcare advice, along with gait and posture analysis, treatment across a range of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical conditions that affect your feet and lower limbs. Where clinically appropriate, also offer the following services at home:

  • General nail care for issues such as treating fungal nail infections and ingrown nails
  • General podiatry services for issues including foot ulcers, plantar warts, cracked heels, corns, callouses and bunions
  • Heel and ankle pain
  • Children’s podiatry, including foot, ankle and leg pain
  • Orthotics and footwear advice
  • Assistance with restoring and maintaining mobility for day-to-day tasks.
