Job summary

Project Superhero in New South Wales, Sydney, seeks a Speech Pathologist to join our paediatric early intervention team. This mobile role delivers therapy in homes, schools and community settings, with travel between appointments and paid travel time.

We support CPSP-qualified practitioners, emphasise child-centred play-based approaches and ESDM. New graduates are welcome, with supervision and flexible scheduling to fit caseload development.

Qualifications

• Recognition of a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Current or eligible CPSP with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Interest in early childhood development and play-based approaches.
• Willingness to travel to homes, schools and community settings.
• Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain.
• Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable car.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualised early intervention in home, education and community settings.
• Apply speech pathology to children’s communication, interaction and participation goals.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers and educators to build confidence to support children within everyday routines.
• Develop and review meaningful goals in partnership with families and the broader team.
• Work within a key worker model, coordinating cases with supervision.
• Collaborate closely with clinicians from speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychology and other early intervention backgrounds.
• Participate in ESDM training and ongoing clinical development.
• Maintain clear, respectful and timely communication and documentation.
