Job summary

ChapterSix Professional Services Pty Ltd in Mackay, QLD is seeking an Automotive Electrician to service and overhaul mobile mining equipment. You will fault find, repair harnesses, install electrical assemblies, and service engine control systems on Caterpillar machinery in the local workshop and on-site sites.

This role offers a structured onboarding, mentorship, path to leadership, relocation assistance, and a schedule of four days on, three off with 12-hour shifts, no FIFO.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Automotive Electrician with experience on mobile mining or earthmoving equipment.
• Solid fault-finding experience on electrical/electronic systems.
• Harness repair, removal and installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding on electrical and electronic systems with test equipment.
• Harness removal, installation and repair.
• Removing and installing electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
• Testing and replacing alternators, generators, voltage regulators and starter motors.
• Engine control systems and timing; ignition and electrical wiring repairs.
