Job summary

RGIT Australia seeks a reliable Maintenance & Grounds Lead to manage upkeep across Sydney childcare centres. This full-time, mobile role involves travel between sites, completing garden maintenance, landscaping and general improvements to ensure safe, welcoming environments for children and families.

You will inspect play areas and facilities, perform minor repairs, and coordinate with Centre Managers to prioritise maintenance work.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, groundskeeping or facilities management.
• Confident using common tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage your day.
• Strong focus on safety and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, whipper snipping and garden maintenance.
• Landscaping and outdoor improvements.
• Inspecting playgrounds, gates, fencing and outdoor areas.
• Carrying out minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Pressure washing and outdoor cleaning.
• Travel between Sydney centres and prioritise maintenance needs.
