Harmony Australasia seeks an experienced mobile fleet maintenance leader to drive safety, reliability and cost-effective upkeep of the project services and ancillary fleet. You will mentor local national staff, coordinate with operations leaders and lead maintenance strategy development in a mining environment.
You will ensure compliance with work management processes, monitor costs and fleet performance, and maintain accurate data in Pronto, supporting target delivery and continuous improvement
Reporting to the Mobile Fleet Manager, you will lead maintenance and repair activities for the Project Services & Ancillary Fleet, ensuring safety, environmental and community relations standards are consistently achieved by Harmony and contractor teams. This is a key leadership role focused on fleet reliability, maintenance strategy, mentoring and coaching of the local national workforce, productivity, cost control and statutory compliance.

You are an experienced mobile fleet maintenance leader with strong technical capability, a safety-first mindset and the confidence to lead teams in a complex mining environment. You bring practical maintenance experience, sound judgement, strong communication skills, a continuous improvement approach to fleet performance and a genuine commitment to mentoring and coaching local national employees.
The successful applicant must be able to meet the requirements for a PNG Work Permit application and Federal Police Clearance and must hold a current passport or be able to obtain one as soon as possible.
