Job summary

MacKellar Group is seeking experienced Field Service Diesel Fitters to support our excavator fleet and ancillary equipment across multiple mine sites in the Blackwater region. You’ll travel between sites, work autonomously, and tackle maintenance and breakdowns.

We offer $85.70 per hour + super on all rostered hours, permanent full-time employment with a 7/7 roster, a fully maintained field service ute, paid travel time outside rostered hours, and meals and accommodation when required.

Qualifications

• A recognised Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic trade qualification
• Previous field service or OEM experience is essential
• Experience maintaining and repairing large mining equipment
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• A current Queensland driver's licence
• A proactive approach to safety and the ability to work independently
