Job summary

Motor Neurone Disease New South Wales is seeking an Equipment Support Officer to join the FlexEquip team, providing and promoting assistive technology to people with MND and other conditions across NSW and ACT.

The role involves hands-on equipment provision, maintenance and documentation, working 22.5 or 25.5 hours per week with Mondays and Fridays essential. 12-month initial contract with view to permanent, salary of $33.50 per hour plus 12% superannuation.

FlexEquip Equipment Support Officer - 2 positions available - either 22.5 hours per week or 25.5 hours per week

MND NSW is seeking applications for an Equipment Support Officer to join the FlexEquip team.

FlexEquip is an equipment library that provides assistive technology (aids and equipment) for people living with motor neurone disease and other progressive neurological conditions.

Help deliver independence, dignity and quality of life to people living with MND.

At MND NSW, we support people living with Motor Neurone Disease and other progressive neurological conditions to live as independently and comfortably as possible. Through our FlexEquip service, we provide essential assistive technology and equipment to people across NSW and the ACT.

We're looking for a practical, dependable and people-focused Equipment Support Officer to join our team.

The purpose of this role is to provide, maintain and promote the provision of assistive technology through the FlexEquip equipment library. This position will assist in the provision of equipment to people with MND and NDIS participants in NSW and ACT in an efficient and accurate manner.

• Demonstrated ability using the Microsoft Office suite and databases (Salesforce)

• Understanding of disability equipment or willingness to learn


• Understanding of Motor Neuron disease or willingness to learn


• Ability to work autonomously and be flexible as part of a team


• Experience in using databases/client management systems


• Ability to problem solve when processes are not working as expected


• Knowledge of MND, while an advantage is not a prerequisite as training and a comprehensive orientation program will be provided
