Job summary

CMC Markets ANZ is seeking an experienced AML/CTF Officer to independently manage compliance across AUSTRAC obligations for stockbroking and OTC derivatives from our Barangaroo office in Sydney. You will oversee policies, procedures and incident logging while liaising with AUSTRAC and senior leadership.

The role requires 3-5 years in AML/CTF, a relevant tertiary qualification, and permanent work eligibility in Australia.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as an AML/CTF Officer.
• Thorough understanding of Australian AML/CTF acts and rules.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience managing relationships with AUSTRAC.
• Eligibility to work in Australia permanently.

Responsibilities

• Being the primary point of contact for all business dealings with AUSTRAC.
• Reporting regularly to relevant CMC boards and senior management.
• Ensuring CMC in Australia complies with its AML/CTF obligations for both businesses according to acts and rules.
• Creation, implementation and maintenance of internal policies, procedures and systems for AML/CTF compliance.
