Job summary

IMC is hiring a Software Engineer for Machine Learning Frameworks in Sydney, NSW, Australia. You will help build the core stack spanning C++, Rust, Python, MLIR, and CUDA to accelerate research iterations and production performance.

You will own and contribute to optimisers, code generators, and runtime libraries, while collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into robust systems in a fast-moving trading environment.

Qualifications

• Writes production code in a systems language (C++/Rust) and cares about how it runs on hardware.
• Comfortable with unfamiliar parts of the stack and quickly self-solve problems.
• Has commercial production ownership and long-term maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Build optimisers, code generators, and runtime libraries.
• Develop the orchestration layer for computation across heterogeneous hardware.
• Contribute across C++, Rust, Python, and CUDA to improve the ML framework stack.
