Job summary

TikTok’s Trust & Safety team is looking for a Graduate Machine Learning Engineer in Sydney, Australia. You will work with world-class engineers to build scalable classifiers, tools, models and algorithms using machine learning, computer vision and data mining technologies.

We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/SE/CE or related fields, strong knowledge in ML/NLP/data mining/CV, and solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, plus excellent communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid knowledge in machine learning, pattern recognition, NLP, data mining, or computer vision.
• Firm understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with world-class engineers to build industry-leading trust and safety systems for TikTok.
• Develop and build up highly-scalable classifiers, tools, models and algorithms leveraging machine learning, computer vision and data mining technologies.
• Improve trust and safety strategy and work on model iterations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect TikTok globally.
