Job summary

Aurenne Group Mining seeks a Safety Advisor for Mt Ida Gold Mine on an 8:6 FIFO roster with ASAP start. You will guide safety compliance and support a close-knit team at a 250-person camp, ensuring site safety policies are followed and emergency plans are maintained.

You’ll conduct audits, investigations, and workplace inspections while maintaining documentation and engaging with employees and contractors. The role emphasizes proactive risk management and practical safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a similar role in mining
• Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent
• Manual C Class driver’s licence
• Strong understanding of WA WSH Act 2020 and WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to make effective decisions in rapidly changing situations
