Job summary

Evolution Mining's Ernest Henry Operations is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Engineer to maximise performance and lifecycle of critical mining assets. You will partner with Maintenance, Operations and Engineering teams to drive reliability strategies and lead improvement initiatives.

The role offers FIFO or residential options from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, with an 8/6 roster, and a path to influence safety, production and site performance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in mining, processing, heavy industry or asset-intensive environments preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems such as crushing, conveying, dewatering, hoisting, ventilation or concentrator plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise reliability strategies and maintenance programs for critical plant and infrastructure assets.
• Lead reliability improvement projects from concept through to implementation and commissioning.
• Drive predictive and preventative maintenance initiatives to improve equipment performance and availability.
• Partner with Maintenance teams to identify and implement engineering improvements and reliability solutions.
• Provide technical support, coaching and guidance to operational and maintenance teams.
• Analyse asset performance data and prepare reports that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
