Job summary

HMA Wear Solutions is seeking a reliable Industrial Painter to join the Singleton site services team for ongoing maintenance within the Hunter Valley coal mining industry.

Must be trade qualified with a certificate in surface preparation and coating, have at least 2 years' experience, hold a current licence and transport, and pass pre-employment checks. The role offers an hourly rate with site allowances and overtime, generous travel payments, and a 4-day week, with a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Must be trade qualified and hold a Certificate of Proficiency in surface preparation and coating application as a minimum.
• Must have 2 years’ experience and be able to demonstrate that experience
• Current Drivers Licence and own transport
• Pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen and Pre-Employment Medical order 45 (Cat A)
• Reliable, and ability to work safely and efficiently to time constraints
• Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Due to our extensive use of Dust Masks, we have introduced a Clean Shaven Policy.

Responsibilities

• Join our Singleton site services team for ongoing maintenance within the Hunter Valley’s coal mining industry.
• Perform surface preparation and coating application in line with safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and liaise with site teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
