Yancoal Australia is offering a proactive Commercial role based at Moolarben Coal Operations in NSW. You will join the Commercial team reporting to the Commercial Superintendent, focusing on financial reporting, forecasting, budgets, and life-of-mine planning.

Responsibilities

• Monthly management reporting and financial forecasting, including assisting with yearly budgets and life-of-mine plan.
• Partnering with operations teams to provide financial insights that support production and planning decisions.
• Facilitating cost review meetings with department managers and supervisors.
• Analysis of operating costs to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Administer and control project/CAPEX applications in line with policy and use of the accounting system.
• Trial balance reconciliations.
• Supporting the Asset Management lifecycle.
• Preparation of ad hoc reporting requests from key stakeholders.
• Educating end users of accounting systems and reporting requirements.
