Job summary

DETEKD is seeking a Project Delivery Manager to join our team in Central Queensland, based in Rockhampton, blending office work with FIFO/DIDO to mine sites on a 9 day fortnight. Reporting directly to the Directors, you will lead two project delivery teams, coordinate people, resources, client commitments and commercial outcomes across coalfield projects, with regular site travel.

Qualifications

• Own day-to-day scheduling and forward planning across multiple project teams.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, site supervisors and coordinators.
• Maintain clear client communication with progress reporting and issue resolution.
• Oversee project financials, variations, invoicing readiness and margins.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Continuously improve project delivery processes to support growth.
• Provide executive visibility on performance, risks and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate two project delivery teams across a portfolio of Central Queensland coalfield projects.
• Travel regularly to mine sites and stay close to field activity.
• Set expectations, make decisions, and escalate key issues to Directors.
