Job summary

NRW Civil & Mining is seeking a qualified Mining Engineer to join our team on the Karara Mining project in Western Australia. You will influence short-term mine planning and production performance while working with an experienced operational team.

The role reports to the Project Manager and involves planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control across a modern site with strong HSE emphasis and long-term career prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mining or equivalent.
• Two years' experience in a production mine site engineering role.
• Experience with planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and optimised short-term mine plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with operational teams to support production targets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote NRW's health, safety and environmental policies.
