Job summary

Anglo American's Dawson Mine in Moura, QLD seeks a Mining Engineer to deliver short-term mining plans and provide engineering support to production. You will design and refine open-cut schedules using industry-standard software and collaborate with the planning and production teams to optimise throughput and safety.

Qualifications

• Our candidate should have a minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in open cut mining.
• Experience with short-term design, planning or scheduling is essential.
• Proficiency in mine planning software is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best practice mining engineering services for short-term plans.
• Develop and implement mine plans with truck and excavator designs.
• Communicate plans to production to optimise workflows and efficiency.
