Job summary

Glencore Australia seeks a qualified Electrician for Mount Isa Mines in the Processing Zinc Maintenance Electrical Department. The role covers electrical and instrumentation maintenance across grinding, flotation, fill plants and conveyors with overtime and shift flexibility to suit operations.

Key requirements include Queensland electrical licence, trade qualification and experience in mining environments; on-site work with relocation and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Electrician with Queensland Licence or equivalent
• Experience in copper and zinc processing environments preferred
• Ability to perform inspections and preventative maintenance
• Willingness to cover overtime and shift coverage

Responsibilities

• Installations of electrical components across processing areas
• Development to allow for potential breakdown shift coverage
