Job summary

PHE Group, a leading electrical and instrumentation contractor, is seeking safety-conscious Electricians to join our Bathurst team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role offers local work with consistent overtime and exposure to mining environments.

You will perform industrial electrical and instrumentation tasks in Surface and Underground settings, install cable supports, switchgear, MCCs, transformers and high-voltage cables, and conduct basic testing.

Qualifications

• Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
• Current NSW Electrical Licence
• High-risk work Licence (WP)
• Working at Heights (Last 16 months)
• CPR/LVR (Last 9 months)
• Unrestricted C Class Driver’s Licence
• White/Blue Construction Card

Responsibilities

• Undertake industrial electrical and instrumentation installations in Surface and Underground environments.
• Install cable support systems including cable tray, conduit, and catenary.
• Install switchgear, junction boxes, MCCs, transformers, VSDs, lighting, and communications equipment.
• Installation and terminations of High voltage, power, and control cables.
• Ensure correct earthing and bonding of electrical systems across all installations.
• Carry out quality checks and basic testing (continuity, insulation resistance).
• Participate in shutdowns and electrical compliance upgrades
