Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited is hiring a Dump Truck Operator to join the Mining Production team in the Pilbara region. You will operate dump trucks in a hard rock operation and work safely to hit production targets on a FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara.

The role requires 12.5-hour shifts, including nights, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork. Prior experience with CAT 785 or similar is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy surface mining equipment in hard rock production.
• Experience with Priority Rules in mining operations.
• Experience using Fleet Management Systems is preferred.
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts including nights.
• Current WA C-class manual driver's licence; HR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dump Trucks in a hard rock open pit mining environment.
• Conduct pre-start safety checks on mobile mining equipment.
• Report hazards and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team with a can-do attitude; follow industry best practices.
• Contribute to overall safe operations and production targets.
• Assist with other tasks and operate other machinery as required.
