Job summary

HCJ Group in Australia is seeking a trade-qualified heavy equipment mechanic to service and repair CAT 776/777 haul trucks, 785 rear tippers, 992/993 loaders, D11 dozers and 16M graders on a predictable roster. You must hold a Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent, with at least 3 years post-trade experience on heavy mobile equipment and Queensland High Risk Work licences.

A current HR/MR licence is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate (Cert III minimum) in Mobile Plant Technology or Heavy CV Mechanical Technology.
• At least 3 years post-trade experience on heavy mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose and repair CAT 776/777 haul trucks, 785 rear tippers, 992/993 loaders, D11 dozers and 16M graders to major maintenance standard.
• Carry out scheduled servicing, component change outs and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across hydraulics and powertrain systems.
• Complete work orders, service sheets and site documentation on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop and participate in site safety processes.
• Support the maintenance crew and flag issues early.
