Glencore Australia is seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to support Collinsville Open Cut, a long-standing coal mine in North Queensland. You will provide surveying support for production, statutory plans, and civil projects, working within a team to ensure timely end-of-month volumes.

Ideal candidates hold a surveying degree or have extensive industry experience, with proficiency in Vulcan, GIS tools, and laser/total station equipment.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Surveying or significant industry experience.
Experience in open cut coal mine surveying.
Proficient with Vulcan/Point Studio and GIS tools.
Remote pilot licence with AROC certification (RPA/UAV) desirable.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with surveying support for a large coal mining operation.
Support production, statutory plans, and civil and structural projects.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver end-of-month volumes.
Ensure alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency.
