Job summary
Otraco International is seeking an experienced Tyre Technician for the Blackwater Mine site in Central Queensland. You will undertake planned and reactive tyre changes on mobile mining equipment, maintain pressures, and support site operations to meet safety and quality standards.
Apply with minimum 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting on mine sites, a Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR21916/21920 preferred), a valid C Class licence (HR/LR advantageous), and QLD Mining
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites.
- Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21916/ AUR21920 preferred.
- A valid C Class driving licence; HR/LR advantageous.
- QLD Standard 11 Mining Induction.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking planned and reactive tyre changes on a range of mobile mining equipment.
- Performing routine inspections and assessing wheel components; entering data into our tyre management system.
- Maintaining pressures and quality in accordance with site specifications.
- Upholding our commitment to providing an excellent level of service to clients.
