Compass Group Pty Limited is recruiting a Mine Site Cleaning Supervisor across Central Queensland. You will oversee 5–15 cleaners, manage daily operations, and report to upper management from a local CQ base.

The role involves 10–12 hour days on a 7x7 roster, with DIDO only for residents of Central Queensland, and strict adherence to safety and cleaning standards. The position requires supervisor certificates, strong interpersonal and IT skills, and the ability to train staff while maintaining

Qualifications

• Supervisor certificates S123 & G2 with supervisory experience
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
• Advanced computer skills incl. MS Office and Outlook
• Available on 7x7 roster; may require overtime
• Reliable transport and backup if issues arise
• Neat, tidy and professional appearance
• Capable of working in extreme Central QLD weather
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test
• Standard 11 certificate desirable

Responsibilities

• Supervise 5–15 cleaners and report to management
• Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations on mine sites
• Clean communal buildings and facilities (offices, training rooms, crib huts, wash/laundry, lockers, bath houses)
• Manage waste removal, power washing and light grounds work
• Conduct prestart meetings and address performance issues
• Ensure safe work practices and incident reporting
• Prepare and submit performance reports and provide field leadership
