Job summary

Forefront is seeking Mine Site Cleaners to join our team in Queensland, supporting remote mining accommodation villages and operational facilities. You will clean crib huts, bathhouses, camp facilities and shared amenities to high hygiene and safety standards.

The role requires a strong work ethic, reliability and a proactive safety mindset, with a lifestyle roster and opportunities to transition from casual to full-time as workloads permit.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining, construction, industrial or facilities cleaning, or remote-site environments.
• S11 and Coal Board Medical preferable.
• Strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Commitment to safety and high cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining mine site crib huts, bathhouses, ablution facilities, accommodation areas, and communal amenities to high hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards.
• Following all site-specific procedures, workplace health and safety requirements, environmental standards, and operational protocols while working effectively in remote mining environments and challenging weather conditions.
• Supporting workforce wellbeing by ensuring accommodation and communal facilities remain clean, hygienic, safe, and functional, while identifying and reporting maintenance, safety, and housekeeping issues as required.
• Working efficiently in a high-volume fast-paced mining services environment, while maintaining attention to detail, quality standards, and site compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Following all site-specific procedures, workplace health and safety requirements, environmental standards, and operational protocols while working effectively in remote mining environments and challenging weather conditions.

About You:
