Are you a dynamic midwifery leader ready to make a lasting impact? We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) - Birth Suite, PAC and Women's Health Clinic to lead and inspire high‑performing teams across a variety of specialised units at our progressive healthcare facility. This role is permanent, full time.
Based at our Springfield campus, these roles will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield — opening early 2026. This state‑of‑the‑art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With a mix of public and private beds across ICU, maternity, emergency and medical, surgical services, it’s set to care for over 200,000 patients annually and birth 1,700 babies within the first year!
Salary range: $71.42 - $76.80 per hour plus superannuation and access to not‑for‑profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
As a MUM, you will play a pivotal role in clinical leadership, operational management and driving excellence in patient‑centred care. You'll be supported by a collaborative leadership team and encouraged to lead innovation and continuous improvement in your unit.
You will have a minimum of five years full time experience in the relevant area as a Midwifery Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse or other leadership role:
