Camden’s Promise Charter School is seeking a creative and dedicated Middle School Social Studies Teacher to design instruction aligned with curriculum timelines and to assess student understanding. The role involves collaboration with instructional and support staff to foster a positive climate and strong academic outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold a New Jersey Teaching Certification, with a bachelor’s degree and preferably one year of experience with at‑risk youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• One year experience working with at‑risk youth preferred.
• Proven ability and working knowledge with Microsoft software applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and supervisory skills preferred.
• Salary Range: 60,000 to 80,000

We are currently accepting applications for a certifiedMiddle School Social Studies Teacherat Camden’s Promise Charter School.

Our Social Studies Teachers are responsible for designing and providing instruction in accordance with curriculum planning and timing guidelines. Teachers also conduct frequent and appropriate assessments to determine student understanding. They work closely with other instructional staff, support staff and administration with a focus on producing favorable academic outcomes and a positive school climate.
