Job summary

Intetics Inc. is seeking a Middle GIS Specialist to work on LiDAR and point cloud processing for utility and power infrastructure projects. You will focus on processing, classifying, and validating LiDAR data, and on extracting and modeling utility assets such as power lines, conductors, poles, and towers.

You should have 1–4 years of LiDAR experience, hands-on classification/QA/QC skills, and an understanding of 3D spatial data. Additional experience with utility asset modeling is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of LiDAR/point cloud processing experience.
• Hands-on experience with point cloud classification and QA/QC.
• Experience working with 3D spatial data.

Responsibilities

• Process, classify and validate LiDAR data for utility projects.
• Extract and model utility assets such as power lines, conductors and poles/towers.
• Identify data-quality issues and ensure high accuracy of outputs.
