Job summary

Zero 9 Constructions is seeking an experienced Microvellum CAD Draftsperson to join our Burleigh Heads HQ. You will own the Microvellum drafting workload and produce buildable shop drawings for commercial joinery and residential projects, integrating with our CNC production.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will collaborate across design, production and site teams to sign off drawings, manage revisions and hit tight deadlines while maintaining exacting accuracy and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in Microvellum is essential and you know the package inside out.
• Understanding of how Microvellum output integrates with CNC production.
• Confident owning the CAD/software side of the role independently while collaborating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Own the CAD drafting workload as the Microvellum specialist.
• Collaborate with Production Manager and team to plan drafting for live projects.
• Produce accurate Microvellum drawings, shop drawings and construction details for commercial and residential projects.
• Ensure drawings and CNC files are reviewed and signed off before production.
• Translate architectural drawings into production-ready documentation reflecting buildability.
• Consult across design, production and site teams to prevent issues on the factory floor.
• Attend team meetings prepared, raise ideas, and flag blockers early.
• Manage revisions, drawing registers, and documentation control across multiple projects.
• Keep schedules on track and hit deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
