Job summary

JPS Executive Search & Selection Pty Ltd is assisting a major metropolitan teaching hospital in Adelaide to recruit an Emergency Medicine Consultant (FACEM or eligible). The ED handles 35,000–40,000 presentations annually and offers an academic environment with strong teaching, simulation, and a supportive FACEM group.

Qualifications

• Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility).
• FACEM or eligible.
• ACEM trainee approaching Fellowship.
• International Medical Graduates assessed by ACEM as partially or substantially comparable.
• ACEM accredited training site (24 months).

Responsibilities

• Work with an established FACEM group with interests in toxicology, ultrasound, simulation and education.
• Provide metropolitan practice with academic engagement and structured departmental support.
• Deliver care across a broad adult and paediatric case mix in a busy ED.
