Job summary

Downer is seeking a Meter Reader in Sydney to join our outdoor, active team. You will visit homes and businesses to collect utility meter readings (gas, water, electricity), record data on a mobile device, and hit daily targets.

Ideal candidates are reliable, self-motivated and capable of working independently. Full training is provided to operate the device and locate meters, with clear safety standards and career growth opportunities within Downer.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong time management and reliability.
• Good customer service and friendly communication.
• Motivation to work safely, follow schedules and complete tasks correctly.
