Job summary

Downer is seeking a Meter Reader to join our Energy & Utilities team in Sydney. This active, outdoor role involves visiting homes and businesses to collect meter readings (gas, water, electricity) and recording data on a mobile device to meet daily targets.

Full training is provided, no previous meter reading experience required, and you’ll be supported by a close-knit team while staying active across our utilities contracts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong time management and reliability.
• Good customer service and friendly communication.
• Motivation to work safely, follow schedules and get the job done right the first time.
