Job summary

WRL Engineering Pty Ltd in Warren NSW is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team. The role involves interpreting blueprints, planning timelines, selecting materials and executing fabrication tasks to meet project needs.

You will cut, shape, assemble and weld metal components using MIG, ARC and Flux Core welding, inspect outputs for defects, apply protective finishes and ensure compliance with safety standards. Full-time position with competitive salary.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience as a welder or related trade.
• Cert III in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MIG, Arc and Flux core welding.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting blueprints, planning project timelines, selecting materials, and executing fabrication tasks to meet project requirements efficiently
• Cutting and shaping metal pieces using shears, plasma cutters, torches, and other metal-shaping tools
• Assembling and welding metal components to form structures
• Inspecting fabricated components to ensure that the conform to specifications and are free from defects
• Applying protective finishes to metal piece
• Collaborating with production teams to troubleshoot issues and adjust fabrication methods as needed
• Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
