Job description

We're recruiting for multiple M&A (people in deals) roles, joining a business that partners with P&C and the wider organisation to lead people through complex deals and workforce transformation, with a strong focus on the people side of M&A.

The role

This is a hands-on delivery leadership role, owning the day-to-day execution of large, complex transformation initiatives across the deal lifecycle: due diligence, integration planning, new operating models, organisation design and restructures, location or offshoring strategy and workforce analytics. At the core of it is the people side of M&A, helping organisations bring two workforces together with clarity, care and commercial rigour.

Key responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery across M&A integration, restructures, out-sourcing, organisation design, workforce transformation, restructuring, data and implementation

  • Bring strategic advice and subject matter expertise to senior leaders, HR Business Partners and deal stakeholders

  • Run organisational diagnostics through due diligence and integration to surface risks in people and opportunities

  • Turn analysis into evidence-based recommendations that balance commercial, customer, workforce and design outcomes

  • Support governance: critical path, risk and issue management, dependencies, reporting, budget, resourcing and scope

  • Flag resourcing gaps and recommend fixes to keep delivery on track

  • Track progress against milestones, financial impact and benefits realisation

  • Translate design recommendations into practical, embedded implementation plans

  • Guide leaders and stakeholders through the people impacts of change, keeping it compliant and human, particularly where trust is tested during a deal

  • Build genuine, trusted relationships across the business to clear barriers and get things done
