Job summary

Liberty GTS is seeking an M&A Analyst to support our Warranty & Indemnity underwriting team across Asia Pacific. You will manage broker submissions, ensure accurate data entry into underwriting systems and maintain comprehensive files throughout the deal lifecycle.

You will work under supervision to help issue policies, coordinate with the Finance team on premium reconciliation, and help drive process improvements while building strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders.

As an M&A Analyst at Liberty GTS, you'll play a vital role in supporting some of the most significant corporate transactions in the Asia Pacific region. You'll work directly with our underwriting team on Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) insurance products, a specialised area of transactional risk that sits at the heart of M&A activity.

The Role

You’ll support our GTS underwriting team in managing the administrative, technical and systems aspects of W&I insurance underwriting, a specialised transactional risk product that protects buyers and sellers in M&A transactions. Working under supervision, you’ll be the backbone of our underwriting operations, ensuring deals move through efficiently and accurately from submission to policy issuance.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Managing and prioritising broker submissions, preparing clear summaries and logging them into our systems in a timely manner
• Transferring submission data into templates and ensuring accurate entry into underwriting systems
• Establishing and maintaining comprehensive, up-to-date underwriting files throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Booking premium accurately and reconciling payments with our Finance team
• Issuing policies and endorsements accurately and on schedule
• Following up brokers and internal stakeholders on outstanding matters such as closings, policy wordings and declaration forms
• Generating management reports from our systems as required
• Supporting the team in ensuring compliance with legal, statutory and corporate requirements
• Using IT systems and AI tools effectively to streamline tasks and improve efficiency
• Driving continuous improvement in processes and practices, and taking initiative in developing your own skills
• Building and maintaining effective, responsive relationships with brokers and internal teams
