Job summary

The Arnott's Group in Parramatta is seeking a Sales Support Representative for a permanent part-time role (15 hours per week) in Western Sydney. You will service stores in Parramatta and surrounding suburbs, building displays, maintaining stock, and supporting selling activities.

Ideal candidates will have merchandising/sales experience in grocery or FMCG, strong customer focus, and solid interpersonal skills. A valid driver's license and access to a roadworthy vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising/sales, ideally in grocery or FMCG.
• Higher school certificate preferred.
• Strong customer service and selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform merchandising duties at store level following trade standards.
• Maximise sales by identifying incremental opportunities.
• Ensure stock and pricing are accurately displayed with proper ticketing.
• Maintain relationships with store personnel through effective communication.
• Follow territory call plans and complete in-store tasks as directed.

PARRAMATTA - PERMANENT PART TIME - 15 HOURS

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join us within a high performing team as a Sales Support Representative based in Western Sydney, servicing stores in Parramatta and the surrounding suburbs.

This is position is suited for someone looking for permanent part time work. You will need to be available at least 3 days a week. You must hold a valid driver's licence and must have access to a roadworthy vehicle.

About the Role

To establish at store level a visual presence through the building & maintenance of displays in line with identified trade standards and maintaining adequate stock cover. Given frequent contact with Customer store staff, a basic understanding of selling is required to assist with limited selling tasks such as selling in, confirming, or upgrading The Arnott's Group promotional activity.

What your day looks like:

• Perform merchandising duties at store level in line with communicated trade standards.
• Maximise sales by seeking incremental opportunities wherever possible
• Ensure adequate stock is available on displays and that correct ticketing and POS in in place.
• Manage customer relationships effectively through communication with relevant store personnel.
• Adherence to scheduled Call Plan and complete all in store tasks as requested through your i-CAP and via your Territory Manager.
• Assist the Territory Manager in achieving their business objectives and targets through selling, effective management & retention of POS and attempting to resolve non-compliance issues
• Strict adherence to provided OH & S guidelines

Ingredient for Success:

• Preferably Higher school certificate
• Previous experience in a merchandising/sales role preferably in a grocery or FMCG organisation.
