Job summary

Transcend Managed Services seeks experienced operators for MEP off-coil and shear line machines in a Sydney-area steel manufacturing setting. The role requires hands-on operation and programing of these automated systems to produce high-quality reinforcement steel products.

Applicants must have prior experience with MEP off-coil or shear line equipment and be able to work the 6:00am–2:00pm shift. Compensation is listed at AUD 46.81 per hour.

Our client, a large Steel manufacturer in Ingleburn, who was founded to support Australia's construction industry with reinforcing steel, has a requirement for an experienced machine operator, with knowledge of either MEP off-coil / Shear line- Machine operator setters.

MEP off-coil machines

MEP off-coil machines are advanced, electronically programmable systems designed to straighten, cut, shape, and bend reinforcement steel wire directly from industrial coils

Shear line machines

Shear line machines are automated industrial systems used to measure, feed, clamp, and cut high-volume metal bars, plates, or rebar with high precision

These roles are to operate program and ensure quality product.

To be successful in obtaining either one of these roles, you must have experience on these types of machines.
