Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking Mental Health Registered Nurses to join the Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Service across Macquarie Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital and Northern Beaches Hospital. Permanent and temporary roles are available (Full Time & Part Time).

Remuneration is $41.23 - $57.88 per hour, with up to 38 hours per week. You must hold Division 1 RN (AHPRA) and demonstrate strong communication within a multidisciplinary mental

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse – Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills along with experience working within mental health.
• Contemporary mental health nursing knowledge and ability to work within a Multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing staff within MHDA inpatient units.
• Provide recovery-oriented, trauma-informed mental health care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement care activities.
